Hi All,

I've seen some forums here regarding windshield wiper motors and they have been helpful. I turned on my wipers for the first time the other day and they are excruciatingly loud. I am not sure if this is normal or if there is something that needs to be replaced. There is no problem with the movement of the wipers and it clears the rain or snow just fine, just wondering if the noise has to do with the motor or something else.

Thanks in advance,
Ash

Probably the motor going bad. You might be able to replace it without fully removing the front clam, but it would probably be easier just to take it off. And if you're going to take the front clam off, you might consider replacing the clutch master cylinder with an aftermarket unit if you have a MT.

I don't have an Evora, but my Elise is not as noisy as that. Is it possible to spray some lubricant in there?
