Maybe this is old news, but installed a PC680 today and used the HD680 bracket I bought from SEP, see link below (I have no connection with them). Awesome bracket and only $25 bucks including shipping. Secured with 6ea 1/4" self-tapping stainless screws to mount - 15 minutes from start to installed. Used the included angle brackets as extensions for quick jumper cable attachment if needed. Be sure to cover positive terminal with insulator to avoid short of course. Nice. Looks very similar to the factory PC680 bracket in the Sport 260s. I like positioning the terminals to the bottom, the factory has them on the top.

Drilling is required when applied to an S2 Elise, right? Anybody have experience drilling into the floor of that trunk space? Any gotchas to consider?

I'll install an aftermarket battery hold down prior to my first track day and considering this.
