What do you experienced Lotus trackers recommend be checked between track events? In particular, which suspension/steering components does it pay to check the torque on (e.g. toe links)? Any other crucial maintenance/safety tips? Thanks

Excellent post! I don't have the answer but highly interested.

My mechanic follows the LCS checklist that someone here was kind enough to post (as a sticky?). And of course we've strengthened the weak areas such as toe links.

But curious as to the maintenance aspect - change what fluids/filters after x?

Not Lotus specific, but we change the oil after every track weekend, the differential fluid every 5th track day, coolant annually (with Water Wetter) and in between events just a general look-see on suspension/steering fittings, particularly our heim joints and u-joints.

I'm sure someone will come up with a comprehensive list, but be sure to check brake rotors and pads (including both sides of the pads). Also, if you have the stock type drilled rotors, blow out all the brake dust build up to allow for better cooling. I usually pull out the air filter between events, as many tracks are dusty (especially if you get into the dirt!).
