Greetings!

My mechanic is installing the new alunox manifold and I also upgraded the turbo.

When the car is fired up the manifold is getting extremely hot just sitting at idle.

I'm guessing with my limited experience excessive fuel is somehow getting into the manifold. At idle it's smooth but every 15 sec it stumbles then is fine then stumbles again.

Any items to go through and check with regards to the fuel system?

I need freescan...my next purchase!
Thanks
Jason

Excess fuel usually makes for cooler EGT.
And Lean makes higher EGT.

I would start with Lambda and also with timing, as retardation is a great way to increase EGT and high EGT is beneficial in spooling. But having that happening at idle is counter productive, and there is a good chance that the exhaust valves would be seeing a bit of heat just at idle. It might only get worse at any reasonable throttle opening, so starting the understanding at idle makes sense.

Has the tech done the ECU reset/Idle Learn as documented by Randy?

When you get Freescan post up the logs so that knowledgeable members like Vulcan Grey can evaluate.
