I have been following the posts on this thread for the past few days and would like to clear a few things up. We do, at times have Elises come available for immediate sale. In the most cases, peoples circumstances have changed (job, children, wife wont permit, jk) and cannot buy the car. Foremost we call all our customers to offer any available vehicle to them. Once the deposit list is exhausted, we offer the vehicle to the public for immediate sale.
We have offered vehicles at “Market Adjusted Prices” in the past but have recently decided to sell at MSRP. This has nothing to do with demand, little to do with the weather and more to do with the customers, and maintaining a healthy relationship with the Lotus Enthusiasts community.
There has been a rumor floating about that we messed up our first batch of orders. Tom Ziropoulos, the former Sales Manager while placing the first orders had some difficulty reaching some customers that had deposits in for a very long time without communication. Once the deadline was reached, cars were ordered “loaded”, which in most cases was the way people had wanted. The first orders had all gone to there prospective buyers without a hitch.
Im sure anyone that has bought his or her Elise at Maplecrest will attest to the fact that we are completely committed to our customers satisfaction.
Please keep in mind this is not an advertisement. I hope this clears up any questions or concerns that anyone has. If you have any questions please feel free to post or call and Ill respond promptly.
Sincerely,
Kurt Steger
