Congrats. I was just talking today to an SCCA buddy about Alabama. And I just sent him an email asking if there was any history of Lotus at Marlboro. Does anyone know?

Sir Jackie Stewart co-drove a Lotus Cortina to a win in a 12 hour Small Sedan race there in 1964. Was mentioned in an article this past weekend in the Washington Post.

This Spring the Jefferson 500 at Summit Point will feature a Marlboro Reunion.

I've no doubt Lotus 7's, 23's, and 19's ran at Marlboro at one time or another.

I was just thinking of going there soon...although having chili dogs that early won't be a good idea most likely.

I have been thrilled to see the response to the event. We are looking forward to a great day.

The tour route is outstanding. It has sweeper curves, tight curves, long straights, and wonderful scenery.

Its time to get the cars revved and ready to go...
