hi guys,
i am swapping out the oem wheel (airbag) for a sweet Momo wheel and quick release hub.
i have read numerous posts about how to deal with the airbag light/SRS system but no photos or step by step.

who can show my either links or photos of the resistor setup that they inserted into the airbag
connector? i cannot seem to find any photos or a better description thus far and I want to make sure I do this correctly
prior to installation and battery reconnect.

thanks,

henry

I believe this kit includes the resistor and instructions. I cannot remember if this is where I ordered mine or not, I had a different NRG release ordered with mine and the vendor I went through was happy to help. If I recall the resistor took a lot of the available room, there is a post or two about making your own but I didn't want to end up at the dealer if I made a mistake and needed to have the light turned off.

or read a few of the thread links in this thread

The airbag resistor is a 2.2 ohm/2 watt - then just bend the wires to fit comfortably into the female airbag connector and tape up tightly so there's no chance of the resistor moving.
The rest of the quick release hub and Momo wheel assembly was straight forward as was the horn wiring using the OEM connector.

Thanks for the info. Any additional bolts needed or do we use the existing ones? I have the ones that comes with the quick release and steering wheel. Do I need any other ones? Thanks
