I've got to catch a flight, but here are the rough pictures from the EliseTalk meet at the Moran Raceway:

Go ahead and add comments, especially if you recognize someone or have an astute observation.

Thanks to Randy for putting this together, Peter for bringing karts and lunch, and Randy again for letting me manhandle his poor shifter cart (#13 in pictures). That thing is a handful -- even if he makes it look easy. Lift throttle before shifting, but not TOO much or it will buck and make Randy wince.

I have newfound respect for 2stroke resonant pipes.

What a blast. Enjoy the pics.

Great pics! I love the ones showing the people learning how to get into a kart. Good training for the Elise!

Can we have some names to go with the pictures? MW is obvious but how about the others?

BTW how hot was it out there?

Yes everyone seemed to show a great deal of concern for MW's safety on entry to the kart- true gentlemen

Weather was great, it can get very hot out there.

It started out clear skies and around 70 at 10:00am. By afternoon it reached maybe 90 degrees. I was not that hot even in full sun.
