After seeing multiple threads and signatures where people own more than one Lotus I am curious to know how many Lotus Talkers currently own more than one Lotus.

I envy you greatly, Metal. The 340R occupies a place in my Dream Garage, I will own one some day. That said, I can't imagine you relegate the '07 to rainy day duty, how do you decide which to drive any given nice day?

Jeez I love the Cortina. I have been looking for an unmolested original spec car for some time. When they do come up they are awfully pricey. THe Cortina and an S1 or S2 Elan are the priorities for the next addition.


After starting this thread and seeing a couple of posts with pictures I realized I should have included one, so heere is a pic of my collection the one and only time they were all together. List in signature and first post is chronological, so for those who are not familiar the Lotus are from left(back) to right (front) - Lotus Sport 110, Type 106 X180R Esprit - ex-Newman and Carradine, M100 Elan, Elan Plus 2S 130/5, Mark VI - last one made and restored with bodywork to replicate Chapman's personal car, Type 69 - ex-Craig Hill and currently powered by Injected BDA, Type 61mX Formula Ford.

You are correct. Maybe we are Lotus Doppelgangers. I agree on the 23B as well but since I already have 3 race cars and 23's are a bit pricy I'm prioritizing road cars so I can use them more often.

In the unlikely event I find myself in Austria or you are in Pennsylvania, we must meet!
