I've run a few searches and can't seem to come up with any decent motorcycle forums, aftermarket parts suppliers, news sites, etc...

Any suggestions?

What type of motorycles are you looking for? Each bike usually has their specific forum.

1) If your looking for accessories, here are a few.

Unfortunately, to many riders motorcycling is all fun & games (I'm not implying the person who kill himself felt that way), but it all comes down to the reality that you may die for this sport.

That's the question and possibility you have to ask yourself before you decide to ride. It's also the underlying principle for my 0 error philosophy. :(

Yep, Allan you're right but I could also slip getting out of the shower and break my neck too.

When I started riding six-seven years ago, I made the conscious decision that it was a high risk sport, haven't regretted it for one minute. The whole thing about motorcycles is that youre IN the envrionment, you're not looking AT the environmentas you are in a car, wouldn't trade my riding for anything. That's why I sold my car a couple years ago and have basically been riding a bike full time. A wonderful experience. Probably ridden 100,,000 miles or more since then. High point was a 4000 mile round trip week long ride up to Canada and back for the BMW motorcycle rally, and my week long 1600 km ride in Italy in the Motogiro last summer.

I have a 0 error policy there too! As a matter of fact, the only place I don't have a 0 error policy is at work, where I know workman's comp will take care of me. :D

Okay, I have to get back to work now. ;)

My posting of that link wasnt meant as political commentary on the safety of bikes. I didnt post that so that Mike wouldnt want a bike, it was simply top of mind because I saw it posted today on my home forum and thought it was worth a read. I hope noone took it as the former.

I already bought my bike on Friday anyway ;)

Very happy with it... going for a safety course June 26-27th and sticking around the local sidestreets to get a feel for the bike in the mean time :)

I have occasion through my work to see people dying of the unexpected and random all the time.

I second Chris, you can buy it for the most mundane of reasons. It is all a crapshoot.

Live life. Get some. [Going Great White Shark cage diving in September] :D

Most people in the US are scared to drive a car, let alone a motorcycle. They're still programmed by the "bigger is safer/better" propaganda.
