I know more than one person here has an MR2. Well so does my mother, apperently with a heavy right foot too. Anyway, she's got the tires worn down to nothing on her 2001 model, and I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions for replacement. I know the tire rack lists two choices, a bridgestone and a yokohama. Should I just stick with one of those, or am I better off going to a more common size?

PS I'll be sure to use the elisetalk sponsered link when ordering. :)

yay! :)

Either would be fine. I hear good things about Yokohamas and Potenzas.

I would not use another tire, specially not a cheaper tire. Maybe I would consider a Toyo T1-s if they are sized correctly.

I have a 2001 mr2. I highly recommend the stock yokohamas. They are stickiest non race tires available.
