Nice! Wonder how many of us have Coopers in the driveway..... Wife had a base model 2003 for years; couldn't get out of its own way - scared me merging onto roads! The CVT transmission finally gave up, and we picked up a Countryman S ALL4 (auto). Love the Elise but felt claustrophobic in the old Mini; LOVE the Countryman though! Only down side to her is other Mini owners used to wave all the time; not one wave in the Countryman in 3 months..

We too have a Cooper S/Elise combo, and a retired Mini JCW race car. Thinking now about another Cooper S for the wife, although I've been lusting after an XKR. The problem with the Jaguar is that she'd try to climb a tree with 500 bhp, and Jaguars are ground cats.
