I found the on each side of my Exige inside tail lights. What does this plug into and why?

Government tracking devices? Or it could just be your tail light ballast.

That is the transponder that Lotus installs at the factory to measure the G force that your car experiences. That way, they know how hard you are driving your car!
It is also a beacon for UFO's to teleport your car into a spaceship.

Ballast resistor.
Yes, it's a resistor for LED tails... makes it so the system thinks there is a greater load so the blinker won't blink fast. It simulates the load of a regular bulb.

Ha, I wouldn’t be surprised if theY were G-Force sensors given that this car was clearly raced by the last owner.

That makes sense so since this appears to be factory equipment. How do I plug them into the wiring harness given that my GRP tail lights flash too quickly? Is there a factory wiring harness adapter?
