The colors are kind of off a bit but it is still pretty cool - lets you toggle between colors pretty fast....

Don't know who did it but it is still fun!

Pretty good; however, he/she did all the colors with a metallic finish. You'll notice the the specular highlight never changes through any of the color adjustments. Pretty good nonetheless.

Thanks!
Very difficult to get the colors right for all finishes from one photograph. ESPECIALLY if you don't have a good photograph of each to compare to when photoshopping them.
Aztec Bronze looks better on his site than in any picture I've seen.
All pretty good, the Ardent Red doesn’t look quite right to me; but overall very good work.
Krypton actually looks very cool. If it looked like that I could be swayed. Though I think it is actually lighter...

I agree that he/she did a v.good job with this lil tool. No doubt a hard job to get the colors right. The colors look better than the official Lotus site. :p
Thanks for the info, that is a fun site to visit.
It would be nice if Lotus had a car configurator on their website.

I was just thinking the same thing :)

I need to hurry up and make up my mind, I need to get my order finalized by the end of this month.

#15, still hoping to get my car by early summer so that I can actually drive it for a few months before Chicago winter kicks back in

Thanks, I'm #12 and have not gotten a deadline from the dealer as you have. Just curious. Tks.

No problem.

I've been thinking today about color choices, and the more I think of it, the more it bothers me that Lotus didn't at least have the decency to send color chips to the dealerships. It's pretty sad that most of us have to choose our colors by searching for pictures and photoshopping approximately what that color might look like. I'm not too pleased that I'm potentially going to pay $1200 for a color I've never even been able to see an actual sample of. I understand that Lotus is a small manufacturer, and I am forgiving of many of their shortcomings as many of you are because of that fact... but really, how expensive/difficult could it possibly be for them to send paint samples to 38 dealers?

It's pretty sad I agree. I e-mailed my dealer today to see about color samples and he sends me back a link to another forum to look at the colors. Good grief.- I'm probably ordering Graphite and I've only seen a photo of a model from the LA show! It's not the same as Gunmetal, and even if it was the same, I've only seen pics of that as well. On the plus side, I think the car will look fantastic in any color besides Aztek and Krypton:D
I must be a in a minority, but the bronze looks really nice on this site, and I even liked it on some of the other pictures that were floating around. I've had my mind set on yellow since I saw the first pictures of the car, and will most likely stay with it. But I think that bronze might be the most underrated color.

Purple, on the other hand...

So the dealers still don't have real color samples? That's weak.
The brake discs look noticeably smaller on the sports wheel than the base. It's a nice site too, CO and Krypton look great
Laser blue has been added to the lifestyle list FYI.

It'd be nice if they'd update their site. The most recent "news" is over a year old. The LA show has come and gone, the Federal Elise exists, and all they offer is British Elise specs and pics. It is actually the worst source of Elise info on the net.
