hey guys, its been a while but im back for some advice.
My 05 elise is making some noise in the front and the local mechanic (who has never worked on a lotus) thinks that my problem is the front ball joints. and he wants me to replace the lower ball joint control arms sooooooooooo does this sound plausable?
if so do i have to replace the whole arms or just the ball joints, and where the hell do i get some?
if its not the arms what might i look at?
thanks

My old car had the exact same issue. I found some loose suspension bolts which helped, but it never completely went away. Read the thread below.

If it turns out you need to replace the ball joints, they are Moog parts to fit a 1987 Chevette, Front Lower suspension. Same part fits all eight positions on the Elise/Exige.
