Need some tire advice all season tires for time winter
I have an 07 Elise type 72d sport package, the original tires are 195/50w/16 front 225/45w/17 rears. I live in Washington state so wet driving conditions occur all the time and need to consider that in the tire set up. I am having a hard time finding the original front specs tire only a few to choose, so I am thinking of going with 205 in the front and 235 in the rear. I read through some post and other individuals have done this set up. I am asking for advice or input from others that have done this set up or other opinions. Also, should I change the height like 205/45/16 235/40/17. Thank you for your thoughts and advice.

I have the Continental Extreme contact tires. They seem pretty good in the wet to me. Caveat, I've only driven once or twice in the rain with these tires. So YMMV with snow.

I'd offer you a trade or sale on these since I'm looking to upgrade, but the shipping would sort of make it pointless.

+ the Conti's come in the same stock sizes.
