Don't know if anyone else does this sort of thing... Post Office is a five minute walk... decided to drive the Elise there to drop off a DVD. Got onto GW Parkway, ended up in DC by West Potomac Park, followed Rock Creek to Georgetown, through M St to Resevoir Rd, over the Chain Bridge, back down GW Parkway, into Old Town to the Post Office! It's like one giant, addictive video game, and the car sounds really cool through the tunnels... Very nice out, a light breeze, no traffic, engine temps stayed in the 180s.

Fun, fun, fun!

I'm jealous... You've got a lot more fun roads down there than we have in Chicago. I've turned a quick trip to pick up some stuff at eastern market into an hour+ joy ride heading out gw parkway in my brother's miata, I'd never get anything done if I lived down there with my lotus. :)

Hey Mike -

Try to hang onto those temperatures, I'll be there the weekend after LOG. It would be fun to get together with some D.C. Lotus folks from this forum (Tim, ya listening in?). I lived there for almost eighteen years before Colorado beckoned.
