Hello all,
Bought my new 2012 Evora S (red - 6sp man) last week at Sports and Specialist Cars in New Jersey but am still waiting to have it trucked out here to Prescott. Sold a C6 Corvette Z06 after owning it for 7 years, this will be quite a change but am looking forward to it. Been reading many posts to prepare for any precautions I need to look for with my new Evora, I'll do a thorough check of all the fluids, AC, air vents and electronics, any other advice is welcomed. Weather the first service is free or not will determine whether I change the oil myself, could use a little advice on how easy it is to remove the bottom pan to access the engine and oil filter? The dealer said Lotus has their own oil filters ($45) but since this is the Toyota 3.5 V6, I assume the stock Toyota filters would work? Do any of you use Toy filters? Thanks for any advice and look forward to discussing first impressions after I get the car.
