I finally got around to changing the air filter yesterday after my oil change, and while I was in there I decided to remove the snorkel as so many have suggested.
Wow! There's a significant difference in volume when the pedal goes down. From those of you who have tried this, how much is due to the snorkel versus the new filter?

I like the sound, but since this is a daily driver it might be a bit much at 6am on my way to work every day .

It shouldn't be too much of a problem in the morning as you shouldn't be too hard on the gas while it warms up. It does sound fantastic though with the snorkel delete!

As long as you don't get on it!

Amazing what happens when you let an engine breathe!

I completed the snorkel and a green filter job the other week. I could not believe the difference it made sound wise. I thought it must have just been the 3lbs of leaves I remove from the airbox.
