Just brought home an 05 Elise, finally realized a ten year dream! This car is everything I thought it would be. Car was advertised by Andrew here on LT and he was great to work with. Thanks to all here at LT for your wealth of knowledge and experience. I'm sure I'm gonna need it, but I'm looking forward to it:)

BTW - anyone have a dead pedal they don't want? My car is missing one. Thx.

Welcome to the Lotus owner family. Im only here 3 weeks myself
Welcome and congratulations!
Welcome! Depending on where you live in Virginia, you may want to come out to some of our Cars & Coffee events. I will be holding a Lotus gathering sometime in May in Fair Lakes, in Fairfax VA. There's a good amount of Lotus owners locally, and a great bunch of people.

Here's a picture of my Elise, at the Fair Lakes weekly Cars & Coffee today...
Let's see a picture of your car!

Congrats, enjoy it, maybe we'll see you on the mean streets.
Welcome - if you are looking for a dead pedal, hit up 'Keinayo' on the forum. Yorem is his name and he's a good dude.

He's always got tons of extra parts and what not. If not, you can hit up Lotus Garage or your local dealer to get it new.
Thanks Swinglo, I know a new one is about $40 but I was hoping there might be one laying around.

Thanks to all for the welcome. I will post a picture soon.

I forgot to mention I am a member of the "MR2 converts" mafia - I also have an 88 MR2 SC. My Elise will be enjoying the roads of the Blue Ridge mountains around my home in Roanoke, VA. Autocross and VIR may be in the future...
Welcome! another VA Elise here. I usually go to all of Bob's meets, so if you can ever make it, see you there!

Little late here but welcome from Richmond. If you ever get this way, let me know. I got an '05 Elise about 1.5 years ago.
Thanks Raring, will do. I used to live in Richmond. Also a little late, but here is a pic of my car.
