Well obviously I'm new here so lets see where to begin...

My name is Britt Huff, I'm 19(actually will be 20 this saturday the 25th) and from Seattle, Washington. I am a huge soccer nut and love to play or watch soccer and of course very excited that we have The Seattle Sounders FC now :nanner:

Now to the autos, I had a red 1997 Jetta GT for my first car which was totaled by a man doing 50 in a 35 zone while running a red light. The car held up extremely well given that the guy who hit me was in a truck. It only left about a 6 inch deep dent from the middle of the front wheel well to the back of the rear door on the passengers side. After that I picked up a black 1997 E36 BMW 328i which I later sold to pick up my current car which is a blue 1996 E36 BMW M3. I can post some pictures if anybody wants to see it.

Now I am looking at making a move to a Lotus Exige though I am not very familiar with the cars in a whole only the way they feel from a brief test drive. Took me 2 years to research the M3 before I bought it as I like to know everything about the vehicle I'm buying so could be some time before I actually go to pick up an Exige(that and finding a good condition E36 M3 that hasn't been beat up or tracked is quite hard). So now I'm beginning my research on the Exige and hopefully will be the proud owner of one in the near future. If anybody knows some particularly good articles, books, or threads on the Exige please link them to me.

Oh one last thing, what does TADTS mean?

I would love to see the insurance on an Exige for a 20 year old that has had a totalled car. (regardless of fault)

The FAQs are a decent place to start, Im sure others will chime in more.

Nothing from that accident has been put onto my record so it's almost as though it never happened. Oh and don't ask me how as I really don't know but having seen print outs of my full record and insurance print outs there's absolutely nothing.

Welcome!!

TADTS: They all do that sir.

I won't try to explain it because it was before my time.
All the years that I was on Jaguar E-type forum, we had a similar mantra:
"You get that with this model".

Welcome aboard Huff. FYI, '05 Elises can routinely be had under 30k with low mileage.

Yes please :)

It is used when someone new asks about a common "character issue" (OK - fault) and is a common response from any service department that deals with British cars :)
