Hello. My name is Bill Tracy, and I am a newbie here on Elise Talk. A friend of mine let me drive his Elise last year, very impressive! I have a Ferrari 348 that I rarely drive, and a Ginetta G20 (British) that I LOVE driving in the mountains! Hopefully there will be some local drives and mountain trips that some of you will allow me to join in on. I am very active on Ferrarichat, but I think I have read all there is to read on timing belt changes and what color interior to get... A few pics from last month's trip up to the mountains attached. My friend drove the yellow Elise. I drove the silver Ginetta.

Hi Bill:wave:

I am Tom B with the Red Lotus that lives around you. I have a different name (xxxotic) that I use on elisetalk.

Fred posts stuff here every once in a while too.

Sorry I wasn't able to go on the Campbell Run, I was in NJ freezing to death.
Let me know if you want to go on some drives on the weekends or after work during the week. The local Lotus group used to get together once a month at a British pub in Delray, but then the turnout started to dwindle.

Here is a post from the yahoo lotus group, it cut off the email address for security reasons, but if you join the group it should give you the info. I have to go to Daytona on Sunday so I wont be able to make it.

"The Miami BritCar club is headed on a fun drive to Islemorada next Sunday, April 26th, departing from Betty's Best Burgers (formerly Fuddruckers) on US1 and SW 104th Street at 9:00am. Any BritCar is welcome. No fee, just a fun drive, have lunch and come home. About a dozen cars have already commited. If you're interested, contact: Corey Gold at: [email protected] so he can tell the Islemorada Fish House how many to expect for lunch.

Should be fun.

I have always liked the Lotus cars. I will probably get one once I get a job again!!!
I am currently underemployed, but that's okay. Now I have more time to drive.
If I was to get a Lotus I think I would try to get a 23B.
I really love the 340R, but it is not allowed on the streets, and I am not much for the track.
Since there is not really any US forum for the Ginetta owner, I am car owner with no (forum) home. I am hoping the Lotustalk can be a kind of foster home for me.
