Trying to sell my s2000 to buy an Elise. I'm in northern Indiana. I looked at them a few years ago and wow the prices people are asking has climbed by 8-10k. What is the cause of this madness?

Supply and demand. Several new threads on this subject and plenty of differing opinions on if prices will rise, fall or maintain. I know I ended up spending more than I thought I would a year ago when I purchased this summer, but still very much worth it. Depending on what your requirements on a used car are, there might still be some for sale at prices close to years past.

Lack of importing new Eliges into the US has driven the market up a bit. Usually winter pricing drops a bit as the snow sits on the ground for a while. But we should see a small spike again next year when the weather is nice!

I assumed the above. Thanks for the comments. I don't think an Elise is worth 33000 with 30k miles in no way though.
