...a can of fix-a-flat? I read somewhere that the car is supposed to come with it, but maybe that's just in the UK.

...the hardtop removal tool (torx screwdriver)? If so, where the heck did you find it in the car? I got the hardtop, but I can't find the removal tool. Fortunately, I have a torx screwdriver that worked.

Haven't looked. Probably with the other tools in the boot. The Fix-O-Flat should be suspended inside the trunk on the right hand underside.

I am curious what RPM you think is normal for this engine when cruising. I know for brake in we are to vary the RPMs but after that what would you consider a normal RPM for regular driving?
i tend to really rev up when cursing. it is usually induced by some moronic act of another driver

Dam spell checker has a mind of it's own.
The fix a flat can is clipped to the right side inner top of the trunkspace between the boot opening and the wheel well.

I would the torx tool for hardtop removal would be in tool pouch in the pocket of the battery cover.

Yep, that was the first place I checked. Not there. :(

Not a problem -- I'll just call Ascot, where I bought it. They've been great thus far, so I'm sure it won't be a problem.
I found my can. It's wayyy back there. What does a torx wrench look like? I'll bet I do not have one...

Looks kind of like a Phillips Head screwdriver, but the tip is more of a star shape. If you look at the screw heads that hold the hardtop in place, you'll see what I mean. You can't remove the hardtop without it. You can get them at Home Depot, but I'd like to have the official Lotus one, so I'm sure it's the proper size.
Ahhh. I got the torx wrench in my kit. Very cool...
I wouldn't call a torx bit a torx wrench. Torx bolts are star shaped and the sockets are usually T5, T6, etc. These look like http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/LIS-27200.html

Then there are the reverse torx sockets which are just the mirror image and they start with E4, E5, E6, etc. The E type torx bits look like http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/LIS-26750.html

A torque wrench, is a whole different story and is used to tighten a fastener to a specific value. I have one of these:

Thanks for the links and descriptions. I have a bit, not a wrench. Now I need to find a socket wrench in my box to use with the bit.

No way I'm buying a wrench for $281.
The Torx wrench is supposed to be in the hardtop bag. If I recall what I heard correctly.

Correct. It's too easy to loose it in the HT bag, so I put mine in the tool bag and keep in in the trunk

Yep! Called my salesman today to ask about it, and he called back to say the service manager (who did the pre-delivery) saw it in the bag. Of course, that's where it was. Why didn't I see it? Probably because when I got the car, I sprung for the deluxe padded bag ($207 - ouch!), and put the original bag aside, still in it's wrapper -- with torx wrench inside. Didn't even think to look there! D'oh!
