Now that I don't have enough time to read _all_ the posts on ETalk, my previous technique of hitting the "New Posts" search button a couple of times a day isn't working. One neat thing that I've found through googling is that you can exclude certain forums from your search by tacking "&exclude=forum#" on the end of your search URL (where forum# is a number). So to get all of the new posts but skip the exige and 4sale forums, you'd do:

Code:
http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=157,94
You can figure out what number each forum is by hovering your mouse over a link to it. The URL of the link will show up in the status bar. For instance, "other" will give you this link:

Code:
http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=68
so that forum number is 68.

Anyway, seems like a useful little trick.

Been using this for a day now. Exluding other is the biggest help, but I threw in the other regions and non elise car forums too. That got me down to only 51 threads between leaving work yesterday, and starting today.

Oh, are you supposed to keep up w/ etalk at home too? ;)
