Hey all, I stopped by for Saturday's Autocross and Concourse and took a bunch of pictures. Sorry so late, but here they are:

Make sure you click the link for the Autocross and Anaglyph picts too.

Many of them seem similar, but I was taking picts for the left and right eye, which is why I've posted some Anaglyph picts that mostly work. Remember those red/blue shades you wore to old time horror flicks? Break them out, Lotus in 3D!

Things I liked best besides the handline of the Elise was the way it sounded. One writer called it a pornstar whine in an article, I'd agree.

Also seeing all the older cars like the Mark VI was really cool. Meeting Kiyoshi, Shinoo and Randy was good too. Oh, and finding another person in Tahoe getting an Elise was great. Plus his number is before mine, so maybe I'll get to drive his before mine comes in, hee hee.

Heh, good question, I'm 5'7". The car is tiny. It's really made for people my size.

That sweatshirt I'm wearing, btw, is the original "Lotus Elise" sweatshirt, that Lotus never mass produced. I thought for sure somebody would recognize it at the event, but nobody did.

I've been keep telling people that the roof line of a Lotus will be where my belly button is. Most look at me and think I am nut.

That's what I keep telling people too - "the car's THIS tall!" (hand chop to belly)

OMG Ardent Red is gaining appeal... if I don't see an actual picture of Graphite Grey soon... Titanium Storm is awesome but looks brownish/blah/dirty unless the car is spotless and it's super sunny outside.

Thank god for "Spy Kids 3D." I actually have a pair of Blue/Red glasses from that DVD. Those 3D pictures are very cool. The rest are great as well. What a beautiful location, beautiful cars. Thanks for posting the pics.

I've always felt left out...:( :(

Blind in my left eye since birth. None of the "trick" 3-D viewers work for me... I feel cheated...:(

Nice regular pictures though...:p

Oh, that was you. I was the one that gave you a push as soon as I got there.

Sure, take the photo, if you'd like. All the photos are really 5 MP also. If you find a couple you want, let me know, and I'll e-mail them.

Thanks for the photo (and the push :D) it was an autocross I'd rather forget. I think it will be the last time I go to a motoring event without my own set of keys :)
