Hi Ken,

My experience was similar. Phil and Andrew were great, IF (and when) you could reach them. As to the dyno, I think my peak HP was something around 235. I felt the same as you (expecting higher), but Phil told me that was within the range of 'normal' for my setup.

With that said, the REV300 is freaking awesome. I did a half-dozen HPDE events this year and all of my instructors were amazed at how well the car kept up with the bigger motors. If I wasn't afraid of breaking the motor I would already have upgraded to the 400...

Thanks for the feedback guys.

First on the power. The power will vary a lot based on the dyno, the day, and add'l bolt ons.... Temperature compensations factor in differently depending on if 05 or 06+ cars. At the end of it, the dyno is a nice tool to make sure that the installation was successful. We see anything from 235 to 275 based on the above. A lot goes into it...

As for the service, we aim to for the best with every interaction, but we don't always hit the mark. I recognize that and we're always trying to think of ways to improve it. We have to accept that some parts of the year are going to be better for us to roll out the red carpet than others. These cars are a very specialized thing. Everything from the tuning, the chassis setup, service, etc and none of it is easy to transfer the knowledge to another for us to delegate phone service to... While there are other people at BOE, 90% of the calls or emails that comes here is a tech question. We aim to answer each tech question fully and will sometimes be on the phone for more than hour per call. That service zaps the day when we're still needing to R&D, and so forth. You might notice that we're still releasing new things and software all the time  It's not meant to be an excuse, it just is what it is. We ask that folks leave messages when we don't answer and many don't. We typically get the messages answered, but some slip through, I know.

I do appreciate the feedback and I know we can do better with service in some cases. In others, I don't think we can be matched in service due to those many 1+ hour phone calls, midnight calls, text messages, and etc where we are an open book with our knowledge base....

Thanks,

Phil

I think for me it came down to high expectations. Had I known how things would go down, from ordering to getting my tune, things would be different. I was so ready to rave about BOE and say they were the greatest.. yada yada.. but I fully understand about getting alot of questions, projects in the shop and etc. Just a bit of disappointment with the HP numbers and customer service..

I thank Phil for responding and delivering a great product. The tune was spot on and the SC is exactly what I wanted.

P.s. I can not believe how quiet the TVS is. I was prepared to hear the whine of the SC and kept thinking it was a trade off for the HP! But I swear you would never know i have a SC.

Hi Phil,

I've installed a BWR supercharger with EFI standalone ECU, updated the firmware and loaded map in.
Car won't start, no ignition at all, seems like there are no signal from the crank sensor.
But reconnect the stock ECU and unplug the splices, car starts up right away.
Just wondering how can i make sure the EFI ECU is getting a crank signal?

Thanks a lot!
