What a pity the M250 never was made. It is still my fav styled sports car. I wonder how much the new Euro pedestrian standards and complying with US bumper and headlights will impact the Elise sequel.
I did read in the latest (Ferrari issue) of Evo how mid engine sports cars will be less effected (even quoted a Lotus engineer) than front engine re pedestrian regs. I think all of this adds up to this generation Elise as being a long term keeper.
