The S1 and S2 Elite pricing always amazes me. It is all over the map. This car is priced at $75K and has some issues that may need to be addressed, or not depending on your wants. One fully prepped racer sold for $43K recently. I know of another that is in pristine restored condition for $65K (I want this one very badly). About a year ago one "older restoration" (which was actually not too bad but had some issues) sold out of CA for $95K.

And, yes, A3X, the type 14 Elites are very collectible (to me at least) but sadly, no, your Elise won't be worth $75K in 50 years.

If you feel that way and have never seen one in person, might I suggest that you run the other way as fast as you can if you ever come across one. It only gets much worse if you don't.

I have seen a type 14 Elite in light blue, dark blue, BR green, white, red with silver top, red, white with silver top and a dark mustard yellow/brown (that one just hurt me).

I agree with your color choices 150%.

Yes I have a Lotus Elite, a Super 95 model. built 1962. it also was the car at The London Motor Show, I was at the show and saw the car. a photo of the car is on the site. its a great car. Lynx
