Quick question for the suspension gurus....
I bought my car with Nitrons already installed. They have been great and I just sent them off to be refreshed. There are other things that need to be done while they are gone and I need to move the car around so I got the idea to put on the stock shocks temporarily. They seem to fit great. I know the front perches were changed for the Nitrons, but don't know how they are different from stock. Is it OK to drive with these old shocks? I just don't know if things were changed enough for something to impact and bend when the suspension is worked. Sure, the ride height may be wacky and the car will feel like it is in oatmeal. Eh, still fun.
The Nitrons are already shipped off, so nothing here to compare to.
