There are 4 relays in the Multifunction unit, the Inertia switch only controls the fuel pump relay. Remember also that the Starter & Fuel Pump are also controlled by the Immobilizer
Michael
Yea and I can hear the relay go off when I hit the start button.

So any idea what is in that red box?

After a little bit of thought I would have to say "Engine Harness Connector"

What throws me off is it has 10 on both sides. You would suspect that it would be two separate pin's. Do you know what the identification left and right of it means.

187, B, 2.0
and
87, B, 2.0

I did see that the left half is part of the engine harness, so i guess I can start there.

Sorry, I'm no help with the connector. I see your 3m wire taps in the photo.

I love those tap in connectors but had to stop using them on the Lotus. I used to swear by them but they have let me down when installed in the Lotus.

Just FYI for what's it's worth. Stereo connection yes, anything else

Nice firewall BTW

Take this with a grain of salt but I read that as:

Circuit path ID 187, black wire, 2.0mm diameter wire
Circuit path ID 87, black wire, 2.0mm diameter wire
