*NON-ELISE* Electrical Problem

1141 2
Sorry for the non-elise post, but I need some help. My rear windshield washer motor burnt out on my exploder so I picked up a new motor to install. Should be easy, right??? Wrong. For some reason the wiper now needs 'help' to get started. Once you lift up on the wiper to get it moving, no problem. The motor works fine without the wiper blade attached.

Any suggestions? I'm stumped.

Sounds like the motor doesn't have enough torque - are you sure that it's the right model? Is it the Ford part or an aftermarket one? If it's aftermarket it might not meet the original specs.
