Anyone on here have experience with North Plastics Carbon Fiber?

They have reasonably priced fiberglass and CF GT3 body kits for the Exige in Greece. Their website is worthless and it appears they rely on Facebook for advertising and pricing. No info provided with parts (weight, what's included, etc..). For <$2k I could get a full GT3 fiberglass body kit (unfinished).

I ordered a GT3 hatch from them in carbon, it was not the best quality to be honest. I don't recommend a whole kit if they cant even make a proper hatch.

@Malushi_exige.s Any pictures of the imperfections? Did it fit and was just cosmetically unsatisfactory?

After watching my friend work on my CF roof project, which is a much simpler shape; I would worry about distortions that will occur in replicating such a large part like a clam with multiple hard attachment points.

Anyone know who "Doctor Ed" is on youtube? I found videos from him regarding installing the full GT3 kit. Trying to figure out if there is a build log somewhere.

I've ordered some parts in fiberglass from them, they were great to deal with, good communication and so forth, but I won't be able to comment on quality until the parts arrive. Seemed like a safe gamble considering the prices but we'll see, I can try to remember to PM you on the quality after the stuff shows up?

@deathmetaldrums Cool name. Good to hear, I'm getting ready to order the rear hatch once I decide which one (regular or GT3) that I want. When you get the parts in I'd be interested in knowing the weight and your assessment on quality.

Prices looking extremely low. Too late for this build I can’t wait on parts. But will be interesting to see feed back from others that make purchases.

Just stumbled on this thread... the GT3 parts I got im extremely happy with. The main clam parts are symmetrical and don’t pull in odd directions, and the quality of the gelcoat is 95% perfect. Few bubbles and blemishes but nothing terrible. Main thing for me is the shape/profile and symmetry of the parts is good. I’ve definitely seen worse fiberglass work. Funnily enough, echoing an above comment, I also think my Exige engine cover is a bit crap. It was clearly made at a different time to the clam parts (maybe they did a run of them at some point, whereas the clams are made to order). It’s just not as sharply made, is a bit tougher in the finish, and I’ve got a feeling it’s got a little bow in it.

Also, note theres zero mounting options. It’s just an external skin. All the ****ing around to actually fit/mount it is up to you.

That said... it’s CHEAP!! What you get for the money is not comparable to anything else available

It’s a lot if work to fit and finish, but the price and quality as a starting point is good

Thanks for the info and your experience. Out of curiosity any updates on your build? I'd love to see updated pictures where you're at with it.
