Has everyone put their cars away for the winter already? 10-day forecast shows sunny and mid-50s just about every day & I haven't had a chance to meet any of you local folk since moving to NYC.

I saw there's a cars & coffee in Westchester, but I'm not super keen on driving an hour+ through the city just for a cars & coffee. Anyone up for a drive? Or just a meet somewhere not too terribly far from NYC?

Cheers,
Jordan

Thanks Gil. It's local enough for me so I plan on attending (I will try to give the big boys a run for their money on the drive...lol).

Anybody up for another Lotus meeting at Irving's NY Deli in Livingston NJ?

Irvings Delicatessan

GLB set that up for a couple years.

Doesn't have to be a driving event, just a get-together.

Josh, no, its Sunday, September 22 for the 2nd Annual Bear Mtn. Cruze. I am in the middle of planning 3 events. The Sept. Cruze, a sprited run here in NJ around April 7 and a Long Island meet (probably a bar-b-que) the end of June/beginning of July. As I firm things up, I will post here on Lotustalk and also on LotusPals.

Actually Atwell, I'd be more than happy to meet you in Livingston (I could go for a nice pastrami right about now). I would like to confer with you regarding possible routes for the April meet I am organising.

BTW Gil, will you be going Saturday (barring no salt)?

 Ummmm, Pastrami....

I'm on my post-Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas diet. It would be easier to shed pounds the easy way, and just buy some more Carbon Fiber interior pieces. rotfl

ISTR that Gil set the Irving's date up for January in the past.

PM me regards the Drives you are planning, I can help. :nanner:

I might be up for the C&C in NJ on the 2nd, but I couldn't find the thread about it. Are there usually many people there?

What month would you prefer as 1st choice?

Join the Yahoo group and get the schedule.

We had 300 cars last time, some very tasty stuff.

It looks like we need to do a rain dance in order to get the salt washed off the roads :nanner2:

I use Salt-Away (recommended by boat owners, who suffer from a slightly different form of insanity than we).

I hook up the reservoir to the hose, run lawn sprinkler under/around car, then use hose nozzle for each corner suspension.

If anyone needs to use or borrow it, let me know.
