My NuKey works perfectly in my Elise's ignition, and door locks. However it does not operate the boot lock. I have to use one of my stock keys for the boot.
Has anyone else experienced this?

the elise locks are "sensitive" to the key cut - trying getting another blank cut somewhere else... mine is very finicky, i need to get another blank cut as mine wasn't done very well.

you'd think for the $3 we pay the kid at the store, we would get better work done;)

My family owns a 3rd generation locksmith shop. Most of their walk-in traffic is people bringing them freshly cut keys the 16 y/o kid at the local hardware store or home depot buggered up. It's another one of those skilled trades that we're all going to miss one day after it has been totally killed by corporations who are cheaper--- albeit siginifactly less qualified to do the work...

FWIW, I purposely had mine cut at a reputable locksmith instead of the hardware store, and they still didn't do it right. :facepalm

On closer inspection, if I compare to a stock key, the NuKey blank was cut with extra space at the tip. I may be able to cut that off or file it down until it works properly.
