So today while driving I start to notice an odd knocking or vibrating part in the front of the car. I pull over to discover what looks like water draining between the epoxied joint between the panel that covers the front crashbox and the cabin floor pan (not between the front removable panel but further back)

Obviously the water is not causing knocking... but something is loose... the fluid does not appear to be coolent... the AC was running so it could be from the evaporator coil but i've never seen the water drain through that spot on the floor pan before? Maybe some element of the a/c is cracked???

Where is the a/c drain hole on the Elise?

Anyone have any thoughts or experience a similar problem?

most likely water from ac which is normal. look for black plastic hose exiting on the passenger side by the suspension arm.

As for knocking/loose sound. I would remove both front tires and tighten all the bolts to spec, including the two behind the shock tower - others had this loose before. You;l have to remove the shock to access both bolts.
