off the boat?

So, I got the word today that my car is due coastal on october 8th or 9th. Anyone know what the name of the ship is? For ownership reasons I would love to know the name of the ship but my dealer could only leave a message at lotus to find out.

I think we have more info on this message forum so I thought I would ask.

Any help is great!

Thanks,

Adam P

Is this the same boat your car is on?

not a bad name for a ship! What is you "expected delivery date"? George seems to think sometime near or right after hola'ween. Think 3-4 weeks is enough time to make it from port to dealer?

Thanks,

I found this site with the schedule.

This site allows for tracking.

I think that Lotus has narrowed it down to either the Titanic or the Lusitania to ship mine. Is fall iceberg or u-boat season?
If the Germans know the Elise is coming to the US I'm sure it's U-boat season. Perhaps the Elise price increase was to help in the cost of a Destroyer escort
:D :D :D :D
We need some black and white stripes on these freighters.:D
My once MIA Black on Black Elise with all the goodies is evidently now somewhere between the mainland and Hawaii. Was on a Matson ship which departed on Sunday from Long Beach. It is being shipped on a special pallet, which it will still be sitting on when it is picked up on Maui. Should be an interesting experience "driving" it off of the pallet. Honolulu dealer says the pallet has a ramp built onto it. Anyone else heard of this? I'm not concerned with the U-Boat situation, but it has long been rumored that a crazed Japanese submarine captain is still out there, with one torpedoe left!

Aloha,
Thomas Praetzel
Car will be in Honolulu on Friday, I'ld pick it up there and drive to Maui, but the Pacific Ocean might get in the way.

Does anybody have any idea where it's been 'vacationing' all this time?

That's easily explained Andy. The guys at the port borrowed Thomas' car. When he receives it, the odometer will read 2359 miles. :D

That might not be all bad. Can you imagine how difficult it must be getting that first 1,000 miles on the car on Maui without getting dizzy? Let's see...how many trips to Hana and back would that be?
