I have about 15 gallons of old gasoline from the hurricanes 3 years ago.

I know gas goes bad after 6-9 months or so.

How do I dispose of it?

Or what other uses are there?

I wonder if I could sell it on Craigslist?

But seriously...

Contact your county or municiple agency that handles the landfills for your area. They no doubt have procedures for accepting hazardous waste, such as your gasoline. Same process as for accepting your used motor oil, paint and paint thinner, household chemicals, etc.

Lived in Orlando for all of 6 months in 2007, so I wasn't there long enough to know the process. Where I live, there is a very defined process for accepting this type of waste.

I would just dump it into my beater car at a few gallons per refill and use it up. I have some lawnmower gas that is just as old and that thing still starts first pull every time. I wouldn't burn it and waste it. It is no good for the Lotus but should be fine for things that run on regular unless you had the top off of the container and let some rainwater in.
