So I have my car forsale for $33k. Maybe Im asking a bit much but I have just done radiator, tie rods, heat exchanger etc and those take quite a bit of work/$.

I was thinking that maybe Im better to sell off all the spares. Especially the wheels. Then reduce the car to $31k.

Is 33k asking too much or am I being reasonable?

In my experience with modifications, whether we are talking homes or vehicles, the return is always lower than 100% (kitchens still at the top of the list with an 80% ROI). A conservative way to look at it is to assume the value of the mod is nothing more than the cost of the parts in used condition. You may have spent $1,500 on suspension components and another $800 to have them installed, but that does not mean your value went up $2,300. It went up about $900.

It may be a little more leg-work, but selling the aftermarket parts separately may be the way to go.
