The Rothrock brunch is soon upon us. I hope this long salvo of poor weather is gone by then.

I will be taking my M100 to the event since it was purchased there by me almost 17 years ago!

I'm also looking forward to seeing the inventory.

Anyone else planning on going?

Edited contact phone numbers.

The PALS Yahoo e-mail group has generated a fair number of responses. I was wondering if anyone from Lotus Talk was planning on going.

It would be nice to especially see customers who purchased car from Rothrock participate, whether new Elise/Exige, or older cars like mine.

i really want to make it but i'm not 100% sure if i can, as something came up at work. i might be able to get there later and stay or come early and leave early. i'm not too sure yet which if either will work but will let you know how it pans out.

Just got off the phone with Dave R. He says there are about 15 RSVP's to the event thus far. More updates to follow.

Just a note on the weather, while the forecast is calling for rain I think there is a good chance the weather will actually be nice.

In the event it does rain, the event will go on as planned. Dave R indicated that the "tunnel" between the showroom and service areas will be cleared so if the weather is inclement there will at least be covered parking so we can kick tires free of precipitation.

This just in....

Dave R has also indicated to me recently that Rothrock's Lotus Technician Shawn Kennedy will be in attendance. He will be available to answer service and technical questions for those who are interested. Shawn has just recently done his first Lotus ELise Supercharger retrofit to a recently purchased California Elise. The California Elise and its owner are slated to be present. This will be a good opportunity for anyone considering a Lotus Supercharger - or other aftermarket forced induction system - to see the Lotus system for themselves as well as speak to the technician who installed it and the owner who bought it.

Looking forward to a great event,

Had a good time at Rothrock today. Not a big group due to the weather but everyone was very friendly. This should be a twice a year gathering.

Thanks to Dave R for putting on a nice event for PALS. THe weather was a bit chilly and breezy, but at least it didn't rain. We had a good turnout of Elise?exige owners and a smattering of older cars. Dave and his crew had a nice spread of hoagies for lunck and Shawn Kennedy was there from the service department. I picked up another brochure I had not yet seen and had a really good time seeing the variety of wares that Rothrock has to offer. I especially liked the Exige S240 and am looking forward to the arrival of the S260 on order.

Next event for PALS is Lotus at Longwood - http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f110/pals-event-longwood-gardens-june-20-a-71631/

Pics from the event to follow....

California Elise - newly supercharged. Aftermarket T top makes getting in and out a heck of a lot easier.
