Well, I have taken the plunge. She is here.

07 Chrome Orange Exige S.

The original owner put a bunch of stuff on it that I am going to mostly take off. Came with all the stock parts (including an extra set of wheels and tires).

Pics are from the dealers site. By the way, if anyone is drooling over the CF exterior parts, they will probably be up for sale soon.

The car only had 985 miles on it. Lotus inspection was golden.

Like those wheels.

(a pair of my black and aluminum emblems would look a lot better on them though)

Looks great. not a fan of aeroadd, but wheels look terrific.

Maybe keep the harness in but reinstall seatbelt if possible

Congrats, may you have many yrs/miles together.

Aren't those canards attached by drilling holes into the clam? If so, you aren't going to reverse that very easily. What took a few minutes to do will likely cost a lot to undo. Then again - maybe they are taped on?

The canards are riveted on. I know this is going to be a problem, but I think I would rather have the holes then the canards. Esetics is very important to me, and I really don't like the looks of them. I am going to get them off and see how bad the holes are. Not going to paint the whole front end. May just put some touch up on.

Or maybe just a few of these ;)

OK. What are those? some sort of plugs? I am pretty good at bodging things together. My thought is that I could put a bit of pin-striping over the holes (filled first). Thing that sucks is that there are 3 rivets on one side and 4 on the other. Not sure how the spacing is. Looks like they put on the one with 3 and then decided it would be better to use 4.

Or put something like these in the holes......
