How did you mount the Exige wing? Did you have to fabricate any internal supports?

Like the CABC logo.

Wow - that's an aggressive angle of attack on the rear deck wing!
Thanks on the logo. Yeah, probably too aggressive on the wing's angle of attack :crazyeyes...this winter, I am thinking about taking the wing back off and refabricating the mounts that I used to fill in the notch in the bottom of the Exige wing. They were such a pain to make that I got to the point where I just wanted to get it mounted and I was excited to see what it would look like. Besides, I need to fill in the groove between the mount and the wing with some type of bondo, sand, then repaint.

I did have to make some mounts to fill in the notch in the bottom of the wing so that it would sit flat. I went to Lowes and bought a 10' piece of polypropylene vinyl siding, which was luckily the exact same thickness as the pedestal on the wing. I then made a pattern and cut out with a jigsaw, epoxied them to the pedestal, then drilled out the holes, then painted flat black.
Underneath the deck lid is a large sheet of aluminum that acts as a giant washer to keep the wing from pulling through the lid and to make it more rigid I have to give credit to another member on the forum that did something similar with an Exige wing though. As I recall, he was going to provide a detailed process for how he did it, so I hate to steal his thunder. His car was my inspiration and ultimately led me to buying the wing in the first place.
Feel free to PM me though if you need more specifics on this and I would be happy to help any way I can.
