Incidentally, if I recall correctly, I believe the S2000 is about 50 inches tall, which is about the same height as a Boxster and about 2-3 inches taller than a Corvette.

Randy, does that light on the back of the cockpit really work?

As in does it light up? Sure. It's kinda bright too. Is it effective for much? Not really. On my roadtrip I found it not very useful and very difficult to operate when driving. :) Think about using your left hand to reach behind you . I bought a small crappy flashlight and carry it in the cargo net.

Andrew's new S2000 is beautiful really. In some ways a very different car when you sit in it. The Elise is so spartan of course. The S2000 feels luxurious.

The yellow paint on the S2000 is very metallic, more gold than the orange in the Elise. Looks great.

VW has a cool flashlight that is the size of a cigarette lighter and charges in the power outlet. I wanted desperately to buy one, but I am trying to tighten my belt in hopes of being able to afford the Elise.

Actually, I think that the price has come down since I last looked at it:

Just a neat idea. Especially for those of us that like to keep our cars tidy.

That would be neat, except I find that for some odd reason, hardly anything will effectively plug in.. or stay plugged into the accessory power outlet. We used tiewraps on my roadtrip to power the GPS and V1.

The light in back is useful, as long as you learn how to turn it on with your right elbow.

The S2000 looks like a behemoth compared to the Elise!

The pic I took of Randy's car moments before he took that picture of mine.

Come on, take some original photos. I've had mine up for a month and a half now.

I have a pair of them, they work very well. They're a lot brighter than I thought they would be.

I'll have to get one of those VW flashlights...gives me another reason to visit the accompanying Porsche dealer who wants me not to come back there. At the moment my little parcel shelf subwoofer plugs into the power outlet.
