16x7, 17x8.

205/45/16, 245/45/17

No the bridgestone's are not R-comps i kept my stock LSS wheels with a fresh set of A048 for the track. I would advise against the 245/45/17 I have some rubbing issues, TireRack was out of 245/40/17.

thanks.

I heard 245/45s would rub. They look great though. :D Does it rub on the inside? If it's the outside you could camber it a bit.

...yeah, the car looks real good.

the middle? That's strange. I like the beefier look of the 245/45 vs 40. I have A048 245/40 thinking of switching R comps that have 245/45. Maybe your rear ride height is too low? Looks like you could lower the front some.

Everything is stock, ride height, camber. but not for long i would like to lower to lotus track spec, im afraid it will rub really bad. The spot it is rubbing is just forward of the tire, behind the rocker panel.

Ill be lowering to lotus spec and having the front arms machined to get additional camber. shooting for -1.6

I'm running 225/45-16 up front and 255/40-17 in back. No rubbing except up front at full lock and full compression, like a first gear hairpin.

Looking good but I think you really need the 245x40 series tire, which will probably eliminate the rubbing issue assuming that the wheel offsets are correct. What is the rear wheel offset? You may need a spacer to run that wide a rear tire given your rear wheel offset??

As an aside, your 245x45x17 tire has an OD of ~25.7 -- about .8" taller than the stock 048's OD and that's a significant increase, which will also have the effect of making your final drive ratio taller .... more top speed but less acceleration. :)

I have 245/40/17 on RACs and the car is lowered with no rubbing issues.

I would measure the height at the rear, but I would lower the front and possibly raise the back a little to prevent rubbing. Just depends on what it's at now.

A048s? What's the offset of your rear wheel? 8" width?

Toyo R888s. 17" X 8". I don't know the offset, but they're the Volk TE37s that Sector111 used to sell.

I looked for a picture of your car without success. Wanted to see how the 255 looked on the 8" rim. Did you post a picture somewhere? Wondering if it donuts too much.
