Saturn, This is a great event! I go every year (my dad with an MG and me with the Lotus). There are events leading up to the vintage races on Sat/Sun. If you are going to be in town, there is an auto X the week before at a local track (30min outside of Pgh).

btw, are you bringing an italian car? Only italian vintages are allowed in Corsa parking. British car day is where the Lotus/Aston/MG/Triumph/etc... cars will be.

I was going to drive down and enter my Maserati into the Italian "Cortile" and not the Concourse or Corse.
Italian “Cortile” Car Show | Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
It is open to all models and ages thats Italian.

I was going to just leave it there and then go around all the shows.

I wanted to see if anyone from Toronto is planning a trip down on Friday and coming back on Sun. This way we can convoy down and possibly hit some nice roads between here and Pittsburg and make a road trip out of it.
Join up Fri or Sat night with some of the local car clubs and do some evening cruises and event with the Exotic. I heard there an exotic event/ cruise that ends up at a casino Sat night.

I don't know if I will leave earlier than friday ... but I will see as we get closer to the date. If you have any info on hotels, what to do while there and any activities send me a PM with your email address and I will get back to you with mine.

cheers.

Saturn,

You won't be disappointed. This is a great event and race. The whole thing as actually turned into a 10 day festival ending with the race weekend.

Be sure to head over to the 18th fairway and check out the Pittsburgh cars n coffee tent. We have a nice collection of cars signed up to come including an Aventador and LFA plus and awesome krypton green Exige!

I suggest signing up for the British Car day with the western PA triumph club. Something like $25. It gets you into the event both days and there is judging. Most of the Lotus people don't sign up ahead of time and it makes parking in our section very tight.
