Beautiful car, Ron. You also happen to live in one of the most beautiful areas in the east, IMO.

Beautiful car. I will get that colour or Saffron yellow. The other red looks to light for my taste. Does anyone know the colour paint Michael Schumacher's F1 car is? It's Rossa Corsa or somthing. Now that is the red I would like to have.

Nice car Ron. It looks really good on the Elise, even though it isn't one of my favorite colors generally speaking I think that it fits the curves of the Elise very well. Cheers,

Ron,

Great looking car. Of course, I might be biased as I have one just like it in the garage. Its really a cool color in that it looks like different shades of red in different light. Sometimes it looks almost purple, sometimes it looks almost candy apple red. And every shade in between.

I just got my first service out of the way last week and have been enjoying the 8500rpm blasts through the rev range now. Great fun!

Hey, thanks. Bucks County in many areas is quite nice. Lots of great driving north of New Hope.

My video cam takes stills, but not the highest res.

Once I got the car, I stripped off the old wax, then applied Zymol polish and then Zymol Concours Glaze. Once that hardens, I will then apply a coat of Collinite, which is very hard and stays on a long time.

Nice, Ron. Rothrock? Did you get the hard top ? Now there's two BRPs in the area :)

Mine at purchase back in July...
Yes a great color! Got mine from Sports and Specialist Cars in Princeton NJ. It was their demo. It has the hardtop, although I do not foresee using it...I plan on driving the car with roof off whenever temps are above 45F.

Also in the works: a set of black centered Kodiak wheels w/A048's, Quicksilver exhaust, SS brake lines, upgraded headlights, Titanium shifter...

Thanks for the pics and congratulations! :)

I am anxiously waiting for mine. I just called Newport European and my order has been submitted to the factory (Bordeaux, Biscuit, Touring) but hasn't received a build date yet. Hopefully I can take delivery in February or March! :) Then I can join the ranks of the Bordeaux owners!

Ron, it sounds like you have a lot of fun ahead. I understand. My future mods include painting the console, adjustable dampers, and modifying the stereo in some way. Oh, yeah-throwing the hardtop back on next week.
