I've done that in a closed off parking lot in my Elise, though no where near as pretty. I did make it all the way around though. It is definitely possible.

Super easy to do in a lotus. The engine position wont prevent this at all. Now a forward handbrake turn doesnt work, as my stock handbrake cant lock (or even close to locking) the rears.

Then you need to adjust it - it uses the same components as the main braking system and therefore has the capability (unlike most handbrakes these days which use a small drum system within the hub).

I have gone spinning into corn/wheat fields many times. It wraps up pretty quickly

Took about a year to learn how to pull it back from a hard, quick, step out.
