Got a P0139 CEL, so I got a Bosch universal replacement O2 sensor.

What is the best way to get to the Post cat O2 sensor? I'd prefer not having to remove a wheel. Do I remove the under tray/diffuser or remove the rear license plate panel?

This is the first time I'm doing something like this, but $350 for parts and labor for something like this is robbery.

Another question I have is: Will replacing the sensor remove the CEL? I was told it would not, but I prefer asking the experts: you guys.

Any help is appreciated.

The best way to get to the post cat sensor is going to be to remove the wheel. If you've got a generic bosch sensor you're going to have to attach the factory connector onto it anyway aren't you? You'll spend more time diddling with it leaving the wheel on.

Just take the wheel off and if you need access to the connector you'll have to take the rear wheel liner off as well.
