Made the ride to Phoenix. 270 miles and the car performed flawlessly. Window regulator rebuild $429 installed. Cheaper if you send it in with 2 day turnaround they say. Whole job here takes 2 hours. Can’t recommend this enough as a solution to our regulator nightmares.

I just had my driver's side replaced ... with exactly the same non-improved part from Lotus. So in another 21,000 miles I guess it will break again.

What exactly did they do to repair and/or upgrade it? Is that photo of the repaired part or the part in it's original condition?

When I contacted them about mine last year, they said they can't fix the electronics, only the mechanics (cables, pulleys, gears, etc). Which is great for those pieces, but the real weak part is the regulators/motors themselves, and unfortunately, a cheaper/better alternative hasn't been discovered yet.
