Hello Lotustalk,
I've been following this forum for a long time now... I finally grew some balls to purchase one of the cars of my dreams, a 2010 Exige s240.

Now, the carfax had some interesting notes such as seat or seat upholstery repaired & dash trim panel replaced/repaired (at 2-3000 miles). Not sure what kind of damage it would have been, but it was before the seller owned the vehicle. Otherwise, the car has around 10500 miles at the moment and the seller has a clean title in hand.
I wouldn't mind putting down money to get a PPI done at the dealership, but I absolutely do not trust dealerships except a very few. So... are there any owners who loves to look at cars (with knowing what to look for) and wouldn't mind checking this car out? Or has anyone had any experience with Manhattan Motorsports or Sports Specialist Cars (Hopewell, NJ)? I would prefer not to use the one in NJ since the owner mentioned that his family purchased the Lotus from someone he knew at the dealership... I just don't want any bias on the PPI.
I'm planning on picking the car up next weekend so any help would be appreciated. I am located in Alabama at the moment (Army), so I really don't want to fly all the way up there and come back home without a Lotus
